JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining strategic initiatives. The CSO works closely with the CEO, board of directors, and senior leaders to ensure the organization’s long-term growth, competitive advantage, and alignment with its mission and vision.
Essential Functions
- Lead the development of the company’s long-term strategic goals.
- Translate strategy into actionable goals and performance metrics.
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
- Drive innovation initiatives and foster a culture of strategic thinking across the organization.
- Collaborate with department heads to align strategic priorities with operational plans.
- Facilitate strategic discussions and workshops across teams.
- Oversee mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic investments.
- Lead due diligence and integration planning for strategic transactions.
- Develop and track KPIs to measure the success of strategic initiatives.
- Report progress to the CEO and board, recommending adjustments as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Required Education and Experience
- 4 year degree
Preferred Education and Experience
- 10+ years in Sales/Management
- Wireless industry experience
- Experienced business travel
- High volume sales
