JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective
The Cellular Sales Video Director/Editor is a hybrid role – part videographer, editor, photographer, drone pilot, studio manager, and most importantly storyteller. As an expert in all things video production, you’re just as comfortable behind the camera directing a shoot as you are cutting that shoot in Premiere with motion graphics done in After Effects thrown in. You’ll be working on branded promotional, training, social and event videos for Verizon’s largest retailer with almost 800 stores in 40 states. And you’ll make a yearly trip to Mexico to document our premier employee reward event.

Essential Functions

 

•  Be an excellent visual storyteller with the ability to manage all aspects of video production (camera, sounds, lighting, and software)
•  Able to collaborate with internal Creative and Marketing teams to concept, storyboard, and produce video content against internal briefs
•  Be responsible for the look, tone, and narrative of video content in alignment with our brand guidelines
•  Able to prioritize projects and workload to meet business needs and deadlines
•  Able to pivot on feedback to make work even better

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, 9:00-5:00 daily with some hybrid flexibility.

Required Education and Experience
1.  4 year degree

Preferred Education and Experience
1.  Bachelor’s Degree in Film Studies, Visual Communications or related discipline.

Portfolio of professional work demonstrating both directional and editorial capabilities.
