JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Summary/Objective

 

This role works with the Product Owner, Product Analysts and Business units to design, develop and maintain the ServiceNow environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to writing scripts, building workflows, and collaborating with teams to design the best solution for each request.

 

Essential Functions

 

  1. Creation of scripts and workflows in ServiceNow to meet business requirements
  2. Cross team collaboration
  3. Assisting to design solutions to meet business needs

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

 

Physical Demands

Must be able to perform repetitious hand/eye movement. Must be able to sit for long periods. Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Required Education and Experience

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Minimum 2+ years of ServiceNow focus
  3. Working with catalog items, workflows, workspaces, agent chat
  4. Scripting knowledge (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
  5. QA Testing, Agile/Scrum methodology, and interacting with stakeholders
  6. Working with 3rd party integrations
  7. CSA Certification

Preferred Education and Experience

  1. 2 year degree
  2. CAD Certification
  3. HAM Certification
  4. ITIL V4 Familiarity
  5. CSA Certification

  11. The ability to find, collect, analyze and explain system status, activity and event logs to improve and optimize infrastructure systems
  12. Flexibility to work required hours to address critical department needs – participating in on call rotation. Will require occasional work after normal business hours, on weekends, and over holidays.
